As we start to move on from the challenges of the 3rd wave (and pray that’s the last), we have some exciting plans for the remainder of 2021 as we add a brand new safari to our offerings in Western Zambia.

IT IS HIGH TIME! September, October and November are the months when our most popular fishing trip – the Sioma Barotse safari – is running. It’s 80km of private Upper Zambezi water combining the wide, slow flowing and tree lined waters of Mutemwa with the deep, gorge waters of the Sioma Falls.

Stay in 2 camps across 5 or 6 nights, catch some excellent tigerfish and explore the jacuzzis of the Sioma Falls.

EXCITING NEWS! We have joined up with the team from The Zambia Safari Company and will be offering an exciting Zambezi, Falls and Wildebeest Migration package for the first 10 days of December! DAY 1-3: This 7 night safari starts in Kasane where we will arrange a road transfer to Mutemwa Lodge followed by 2 nights on this beautiful stretch of the Zambezi. Activities include tigerfishing, birding for Narina Trogan, Broadbill and Pel’s Fishing Owl.

DAY 3: We then go by road to visit the Sioma Falls where you are collected by the Zambia Safari Company team who will drive you to their private mobile Bushcamp in Liuwa Plain National Park.

DAY 3-6: Spend the next 3 nights in Liuwa Plain as the 40’000 odd wildebeest return from Angola to calve down on the plains. This often coincides with incredible floral blooms and the hyena, lion and cheetah take full advantage of the arrival of the new calves.

DAY 6-8: You then return back to Mutemwa for 2 nights before we drop you back at Kasane Airport. You may also choose to go onto Livingstone if you wish as well?
